Hello, stranger. I'm Tzie, which is pronounced as "Chi". Welcome to my personal blog, where I posts about my interests, mainly music and photography, travels (which I never really had time to write about), musings, experiences, etc.
So, about me? I love music and photography. I love music a lot but God forgot to bless me with the necessary talent(s) so that I can be a part of the industry so instead, I write about it. Music is meant to be shared and that is what I am doing. Note, though, that I am kind of biased. I only write about the music that makes my heart weep and touches my soul. I believe that all musicians, entertainers, and artists are talented even if I am not a fan of them. As for photography, I am an enthusiast. I have a thing for lo-fi, instant, and film photographs. I own too many cameras that I never really have time to use. Aside from these, I am a fangirl who loves to ship fictional characters. I have a dedicated Tumblr for it, mind you. Hah. I also love doughnuts. It is one of the greatest gifts mankind has ever created.
As for my blog title... Why "It's Beautiful, sorta.", you might ask? "It's Beautiful, sorta" is a lyric excerpt from one of my favourite Ryan Adams' song, Beautiful Sorta. When I first heard the song, the title and the first line of the chorus stuck to me, and since then, I use it in all my blogs. But why that, right? Like what Ryan Adams said before (if I am correct), the title is a "reference to life being a tad bitter-sweet and in a constant way, with a side of choose". So, yes, I guess my life has always been like that, bittersweet. Thus, beautiful... sorta. But not.
